More minor league ball stuff. Hanley Ramirez gets the top slot, and I think all of the top six are likely to play in portland this year, along with maybe Delcarmen and West (#13 and #14, respectively). If the Sox do indeed have a good minor league system, we'll see the proof in Portland this year with a team that really contends for the league title.

(OK, upon further review, it looks like Sanchez and Delcarmen will start the year in Wilmington, according to the Red Sox Prospects web site. Still, look for a midseason callup to Hadlock.)

Dustin Pedroia promises to be a crowd favorite - a scrappy little guy who looks like he'll be a hitter (sort of a David Eckstein with pop). He's moving to second base to form a showcase keystone combination with Hanley this summer. Should be fun.
